Huntsville, Alabama is located in North Alabama spanning across Madison and Limestone counties. Huntsville was founded by John Hunt in 1805 but wasn’t officially named ‘Huntsville’ until 1811. Huntsville has continued to grow by leaps and bounds, and now almost 200,000 residents call it home today.
